Preparing your Migration

Initial Review

• Determine which email templates will be transferred
• Determine which landing pages will be transferred
• Determine which lists will be transferred
• Determine which assets will be transferred

Items you should prepare

• List of all subscribers
• List of all bounces and unsubscribes
• List of all email segmentation lists
• List of all email campaigns

Items you might want to consider

• Do you want all the email campaign history transferred?
• Do you have specific new expectations with your new platform?
• Do you need to integrate tools to the new platform? (ex. Google Analytics, Forms, CRM)

Make sure you have the big picture

• How will your new platform be used in your sales and marketing team?
• Do you have a lead management process?
• Who should have access to send emails? prospect data? integrations?
• Have you discuss how leads and contacts will be managed by sales and marketing?
• Do you need to set up compliance like CASL, GDPR or CCPA?
